The Flower of Life – Sacred Geometry – Sacred Lunar Eclipse Oil

Standard

lunaroil

I have only made 6 of these sacred alchemy oils, which are available on my ETSY store.

This is one of my newest intuitive creations, called The Flower of Life.

Every aspect of the process of creating, and bottling this beautiful oil has been deeply intuitive, personal and sacred to me and designed for your personal sacred use. I didn’t think up this blend, it came to me from the Source of all that is.

Compiled and blended at the Full Red Moon, Lunar Eclipse in Libra on 14 & 15 April 2014 in Perth Western Australia with with my powerful Fluorite crystal, and infused with Reiki nightly during the waning moon. The intention of this Sacred ‘Flower of Life’ Oil is based on Balance/Harmony, Expansion yet grounding, and removing blockages on all levels to allow new patterns to take hold and unveiling a hidden harmony or connectedness.

Fibonacci numbers frequently appear in the numbers of petals in a flower. The positions and proportions of the key dimensions of many, if not most, animals are based on Phi. Examples include the body sections of ants and other insects, the wing dimensions and location of eye-like spots on moths, the spirals of sea shells and the position of the dorsal fins on porpoises. Even the spirals of human DNA embody phi proportions.

Creation & Ingredients

The infusion of the 15ml (0.5oz) oil is made according to the golden ratio measurements (the fibonacci sequence, Phi, the Divine Proportion) and is an infusion of Organic Sunflower Oil (Sunflowers are prime examples of growing in the Fibonacci sequence), and local Western Australian pure aromatherapy grade essential oils of Agonis Fragrans (Fragonia) and Santalum Spicatum (Australian Sandalwood) -up to 40% EO in the bottle. A piece of Western Australian Mookaite crystal is anchored in the bottle.

My beautiful and aromatic Santalum Spicatum, a male (Yang) oil, is sourced from a special population of Sandalwood trees in a particular part of Western Australia. The supply is 100% managed and sourced by indigenous Australians and has been used for thousands of years by indigenous Australians as a relaxant and to promote focus. For tending to the unseen wounds of the heart and spirit, healing them so that you can be strongly and fully in the power of who you truly are. The spirit of this oil provides strength to persevere and overcome your fears and challenges so you can become the person you were truly meant to be.

The uniqueness of Agonis Fragrans, a female (Yin) oil, is its ability to work at a deep level, releasing both physical and emotional blockages. This gentle yet powerful essential oil possesses the ability to bring harmony, peace and balance to both physiological and emotional conditions, it is effective on all body systems. My oil is sourced from the southwest region of Western Australia.

A French aromatherapist, Dr Daniel Penoel, discovered that the ratios between molecular families in Agonis Fragrans EO and the proportions between the various molecules are arranged according to the Fibonacci Curve / Phi ratio / Golden Ratio! Because this Golden Proportion is reproduced at several levels, we obtain a picturesque molecular structure that is described in modern physics as Fractal. To find a single essential oil displaying the Golden Proportion within a Fractal structure is absolutely unique and helps explain Agonis Fragrans’ amazing power to energetically harmonize and rebalance.

Crystals

Green & Purple Fluorite – my 10 year companion stone cleanses and stabilises the aura and all chakras. It absorbs and neutralises negative energy and stress. It encourages positivity, balances the energies, and improves balance and coordination, both physically and mentally. Fluorite boosts the immune system and stimulates the regeneration and restructuring of cells and DNA.

crystalMookaite – reflects the various colours of the Australian earth. She gives the desire for new experiences and the openness to see all the possibilities and choose the right one. Mookaite also encourages a deep connection to the wisdom and ancestors of Australia as well as helping to release emotions such as fear and anger.

How do I use the blend?

The blend can be used wherever you feel the need. The oils are blended in a base oil (organic Sunflower oil) so can be applied straight to the body (meditation, reflexology, chakra work) or sacred object (Jewellery/amulet/candle). Because it is a pre-blended oil it can’t be used in a diffuser.

When doing any form of healing on yourself you can apply a drop or two to your palms and inhale the aroma. You can also apply a drop or two to your feet or wherever you feel the blend and healing is needed whether that be a chakra, meridian or for example the heart.

If you are doing a healing on another ask the person who is having the healing session to inhale the aroma. Another way is to put a drop or two on a tissue nearby where they can smell it. You can also add a few drops to some base oil for massaging or apply straight from the bottle where where needed as above.

It works well when applied to the upper chakras of the body, where blockages occur and have become stuck. These can involve issues of grief, lingering hurts and emotional enmeshments stemming from unresolved family and other core issues and of course, pain and hurt from loss of love and relationships.

This is oil is priced at $30A and can be purchased here – ETSY store.

My Clairscentience shop is my way of giving service to others, I do not make much profit from sales, and what I do get goes into my love of oil therapy and towards ensuring my life affected by illness is enriched.

Hand Energetics

Standard

Our hands are channels of divine Love. When we use them consciously, the creative power of the cosmos is at our fingertips. ♥handsenergy

We are all healers!

To touch, to fee,l is the most natural thing in the world. When we hurt ourselves, or another is hurt, we instinctively place our hands over the place where we are hurting. Even when our emotional heart hurts we place our hands over our chest, or if we are upset our hands may go to our solar plexus. And well when you are hugged in a lovingly way that too is healing, calming and therapeutic.

Science has proven the validity of bio-electromagnetism and has given a scientific basis to spiritual healing as a form of bio-energy therapy. We are not just physical, but energy beings surrounded by invisible energies, a life force that inhabits every living thing.

This vital energy force is called Ki, Chi, Prana and other names in cultures. In the centre of each palm there is a chakra which is very sensitive to energy flow and balance and is activated and guided by the power of intuition.Your hands therefore can absorb and transmit healing energy naturally.

You can activate your hands to transmit the healing energy simply by visualizing. Visualize that from the Divine/Source/God/Goddess a beautiful beam of light enters at the top of your head and exits in the palms of your hands. When you do this, you will feel an immediate sensation in your hands indicating that you are now ready to heal.

Your hands may feel hot or cold, heavy or light, or even pins and needles. A lot of healers feel heat or fire as they awaken their healing potential.

Electrograph of hand, 1900

Electrograph of hand, 1900

Whatever the sensation in your hands, it is just fine. There is not a certain way you must feel. Every person experiences or perceives sensations in his or her own way.

This visualization is all you need to do. Nothing more is required of you than to accept your intent to heal. Put your hands over the part that needs healing, whether it is on yourself or someone else. The “ki, chi, prana” energy does the rest, flowing without any direction, through your hands, to where the healing is needed.

This healing energy cannot harm anyone; in fact it usually brings a deep relaxation. It has no harmful side effects like drugs or other chemicals and will dissolve any energy blocks. It comes directly from the Source and is pure and clean.

We are all connected to the universe. All life is a circle, so that when you are healing someone else you are also healing yourself. Use the magical power in your hands to heal, and do what has been the most natural thing in the world for centuries.

Increase the Healing Power of Your Hands

Rub your hands together vigorously for 3-5 minutes.  This stimulates the flow of prana/chi/ki and produces heat.  Hold your arms out from the body, parallel to the floor with the palms up.  Do breath of fire for 3 minutes.  Inhale and hold your breath, then move your hands out so that its as if your palms are pushing the walls away from you.  Feel the energy in the center of your palms flow throughout your body.  Then rub your palms together for another 2 minutes.  Move your hands in front of you, left palm up, right palm down on top, with about 8 inches in between them, in front of the stomach.  Meditate upon the exchange of energy between your palms.

Hugging Boston

Standard

BostonheartWhen I read the news about the Boston Marathon tragedy, it was very hard to hold back tears, especially being an uber sensitive clairsentient, but also because I had a symbolic dream only a night or two preceding the event.

I woke up with tears in my eyes, and immediately recalled the dream where I was so upset I could barely breathe, until someone close to me who lives near Boston embraced me in my dreams and made me feel safe. In my dream I saw a city skyline, and I and a few others were observing it. Suddenly I saw an explosion moving through buildings, but it was not just one simple explosion, it was like an explosion of pieces. Anyway, as I was in the dream I was consciously recalling the pull to get up in the early hours of the morning and randomly turn on the TV to witness the 9/11 , which made me feel more upset.  If you go to my ‘About Me’ you will read a little about my other intuitive events regarding the twin towers.

So I just want to share this with you and send my loving thoughts to everyone has has been affected, because in this big wide world we are more connected than ever.

Losing your mind and creating a new one

Standard

I really want to share with you a fantastic book that is one of the best I have read about how our minds operate. It is called ‘Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself: How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One’ by Joe Dispenza. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in neuroscience as well as a Doctorate of Chiropractic. He was also one of the scientists, researchers, and teachers featured in the award-winning film ‘What the BLEEP Do We Know!?’ (great film if you haven’t yet seen). Joe has taught thousands how to reprogram their thinking through scientifically proven neurophysiological principles!

“Breaking The Habit Of Being Yourself” raises the bar completely from another book I have of his called ‘Evolve Your Brain’. This book has easy to follow steps,”How tos” and a downloadable meditation, which is now one of my favourites! I read this book very quickly and found it all made sense to me, and I had a lot of “ah huh” moments. Atlast, quantum physics and manifestation explained in a way that resonates and shows me how to step into being the quantum creator that we all have access to. I actually followed the book and took notes, reflected on myself, which I tend to not do with other books.

The book is divided into 3 parts, and here are some things to note from them:

PART I – THE SCIENCE OF YOU

Chapter 1: The Quantum You:

  • We are all made up of energy and matter.
  • If you look at the body, including the brain, at the cellular level you have: Tissues > Cells > Molecules > Atoms > Subatomic Particles > Energy.
  • Our thoughts have an effect on the Quantum Field.
  • We are in control of our past, present, and future.
  • When we focus on a thought. Single–mindedly, we make it more real than anything else. We are experiencing the thought beyond the physical realm.
  • We CAN create our future.

Chapter 2: Overcoming Your Environment:

  • Our environment causes us to think -familiar places, things, people and circumstances fire a set of circuits which cause the brain to think in certain ways (an external stimulus is causing us to think).
  • If the environment causes us to think, firing the same circuits over and over, the circuits become hardwired and part of our being.
  • “Nerve cells that fire together wire together” – Hebbs Law
  • To change then is to think greater than the environment and any external stimulus.
  • Mental Rehearsal plays a major role in building new neuron networks in the brain.

Chapter 3: Overcoming Your Body

  • Every time you have a thought you make a chemical.
  • If you think the way you feel, and feel the way you think, over and over, you create a state of being.
  • Positive thoughts alone will not work to change this.
  • The environment pushes genes in our bodies, which cause stress, disease, or happiness and joy.
  • If you ever forget to remember a phone number, you pick up the phone and you just put your fingers on the buttons, and suddenly your body knows better then your brain.
  • To change is to pull the mind out of the body and put it back in the brain.
  • To change is to think greater than how you feel.
  • Mental Rehearsal also contributes to changing the body physically and mentally.

Chapter 4: Overcoming Time

  • We happen to live in the emotions we have memorized from the past.
  • We need to live in the present moment and focus on new emotions.
  • When we watch a movie, read a book, go on a long drive, etc – we lose track of time.
  • To change is to change the emotions we memorize, we need to move from a state of anger or jealousy to a state of thankfulness and gratitude.

Chapter 5: Survival Vs Creation

  • Living in a state of survival creates stress, disease, and it activates the fight or flight nervous system.
  • To change is to be selfless, not selfish. Forget about: Time, Your Body, Your Environment.
  • True Creation is forgetting the “Big 3”.
    • 1. Metacognition: Become self-aware, an observer.
    • 2. Create a new mind to think about new ways of being… asking questions like: What would it be like to… ?, What is a better way to be… ?, What if I was this person, living in this reality?, Who in history do I admire, what traits do they have I can resemble?
    • 3. Make thought more real than anything else is creation.

PART II – YOUR BRAIN AND MEDITATION

Chapter 6: Three Brains: Thinking To Doing To Being

  • We go from: Thinking (Neocortex) > Doing (Limbic Brain) > Being (Cerebellum)
  • Emotions (in the limbic or mid brain) are the end products of experience.
  • If you wake up from meditation differently before you sat down before, you have changed. You feel different.
  • However, you must think and feel in harmony, you can not think one way and feel another way.
  • When you think and feel different, and once you do something and taking action consistently, you will eventually be that new person. You will be in a new state of being, which is wisdom.
  • A new state of being creates a new personality… A new personality produces a new personal reality.

Chapter 7: The Gap

  • We only get our identity from other things, people and circumstances.
  • Our cars, phones, jobs, etc make us feel good.
  • When we die, none of this exists… so where does true happiness come from?
  • Happiness must come from within, not from the outside world.
  • What we appear on the outside is different from what we really are.
  • We need to close the gap and start being happy inside – meditation will help with this.

Chapter 8: Meditation, Demystifying The Mystical And Waves Of Your Future

  • Remind yourself who you no longer want to “be” until this becomes so familiar that you know your old self – thoughts, behaviours and emotions connected to the old you that you want to change – to the extent that you unfire and unwire the old mind away and no longer signal the same genes in the same ways.
  • Then repeatedly contemplate who you want to “be”.
  • This will fire and wire new levels of mind. Eventually this will become second nature, and that is change.

PART III – STEPPING TOWARD YOUR NEW DESTINY

Chapter 9: The Meditative Process: Introduction and Preparation – the tools and steps to follow for your meditation journey.

Part III is the “how to do it” part of the book – with fantastic ways and variations to do the meditation. The meditation I prefer the most is the ‘water rising’ one!

Frangipani (Plumeria) Oil in healing and symbol

Standard

Frangipani is one of my favourite essential oils to work with and it is also expensive to purchase (10ml =up to$40).  But I couldn’t simply live with out it – the  sweet scent of buttery soft  floral petals enhanced by citrus is very appetizing!! I remember in my teens I would try to make my own flower infusions (not successfully I might add). I find Frangipani a wonderful companion to Australian Sandalwood (another favourite of mine).

My house is blessed with this beautiful tree, one sheltering my bedroom window and the others framing the front of the house. It’s beautiful waxy cream and yellow flowers make me happy, and it is a joy to see the flowers reappearing between December and April each year.

frangipanihome

Frangipani is one of the most enticing and captivating scents due to its uplifting and soul soothing qualities and Ancient Indians believed it to be the “Tree of Life” due to its healing capacity. The oil will instantly relieve stress and replenish the mind and body, to induce peace and tranquility in your internal and external awareness. It also helps one to regain confidence and self-esteem, while soothing and relaxing the nerves and muscles of the body.

In the language of flowers, Frangipani (Plumeria) are said to stand for love long in absence and it is associated with “love” in Feng Shui. According to Cunningham’s Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs (by Scott Cunningham; Llewellyn Publications, 1984) the frangipani (plumeria) is associated with the feminine, ruled by Venus, its element is water, its deity is Buddha, its power is love and its magical uses are in love spells.

“Warming” oils — such as those from Frangipani, Sandalwood, Lotus flower, Frankinense, Cinnamon and Basil — are said to have a calming influence on those suffering from fear, anxiety, insomnia or tremors, according to the principles of Ayurveda, a 5,000-year-old Indian holistic science that seeks to balance mind, body and spirit.

Here is an overview of the oil properties

Fragrance: sweet, heady, fruity, floral

Emotions: Relieves stress (sedative), refreshes, instills high self-esteem, inspires romance, fearlessness, self harmonizing; Uplifts overall emotions about the self and the surrounding environment.

Skincare: Moisturizing on the skin (used by massage therapists to moisturize during massage). Smoothes dry and cracked skin, absorbs easily and helps keep skin soft. In India the oil has been used as the treatment for itches and fevers. It is believed that Mayan people added it for skin treatments.

Physical: Aphrodisiac, astringent, relieves inflammation, antioxidant, purifying, tones, reduces headache, relieves back pain and tinnitus, soothes and relaxes nerves and muscles; Excellent for maintaining well-functioning systems throughout the body.

Spiritual: Inner and outer self-awareness, inner peace and harmony, uplifts spirits and nourishes the soul.

How I Create Chi Balls

Standard

Universal Energy or “Chi” as it is known in many cultures, is the life force that animates all life and permeates everything around us. Chinese practitioners have been working with chi energy for more than 3,000 years in martial arts, in the body, mind and soul healing.

Anyone who is good at working with energy can easily create an ‘Energy Ball’ or ‘Chi Ball’ – a consciously created ball of contained Universal Energy. A Chi ball is one of the simplest and effective ways to use Chi, because you just will or give intent to the energy that forms the Chi Ball, and that intent creates the power to change or influence. You control the energy that goes into the Chi Ball, and everything that goes into it – colour, size, intent, images. Once it is created, you can disconnect and it can stand alone ready to be sent to where you desire, be it, your own body, distant healing of another, to other people to solve issues, to make your mood better, protection, or more.

Whilst the exercises below are just the basics, once you are more adept you can move onto just visualising the creation of a Chi Ball.

Breathing Chi:

The easiest way to start creating Chi Balls is with your breath. Chi is breath or air in Chinese, so feeling Chi will be easier and more effective.

Firstly, think about your intent of the Chi Ball

  1. I’d suggest sitting on a chair or yoga sitting posture to start with
  2. Close your eyes, relax your arms and place them palms up slightly facing each other
  3. Take a deep breathe through your nose, feel your belly float up and draw your breath into your lower abdomen…like you are storing it there
  4. Keep your breath smooth, easy and regular. You are now in the present moment.  Remember energy follows intention, so keep your focus.
  5. Visualise the air flowing through the path you want it to follow – start breathing the energy you are drawing in, down your arms and into your palms, feeling the energy coming out of them

Creating a Chi Ball

Firstly, think about your intent of the Chi Ball

  1. Sit comfortably
  2. Close your eyes, focus on your breath for 5 minutes or as you need (as described above)
  3. Breathe through your nose and breathe out through your palms
  4. Bring your hands out in front of you (chest height), palms facing one another. Bring the hands together but without touching. Hold them close and feel as the energy you are breathing into your palms is building.
  5. Now, slowly bring your hands further apart (4 inches or so)
  6. Mold the Chi energy with your hands and mind to create a round ball. Keep breathing through your nose and exhaling out your palms, and feel the energy building.
  7. Move your hands away from each other then back together again slowly. After a while you feel the Chi – I liken it to a pressure, or slight tension, when two magnets oppose each other.

I like to imagine that the Chi is like a balloon in my hands, that as I exhale out through the palms, the balloon is being inflated with Chi energy.

If you wish you can now empower yourself by gently pushing the Chi Ball into your Solar Plexus. Gently push the ball and feel its energy pulsing, whilst taking a deep breath and directing the energy to flow through out your body. Pay attention to where it flows and give thanks to the Universal Energy that IS.

Practice makes perfect, so you could try and spend 10-20 minutes a day, and it will become easier to feel. Once you are more confident you can add colours, size and images if you like, that compliment your intention.

If you would like to read more about Chi or Ki as it is also known, in a healing capacity, please see my blog piece on Ki Energy.

Embracing Clairsentience

Standard

So my blog is  called Confessions of a Clairsentient, and so it is only apt that I try to find words to describe this energetic operating system one is born with or develops. I still find it difficult to put into words what I feel sometimes, but try to do my best here and present information that resonates from my personal experiences. But each person is different.

Clairsentience (clear-feeling) is one of the most common and down to earth intuitive gifts that you can develop, yet complex as the same time. It is a sixth sense, so to speak, and means the ability to “feel”, or “know”, and interpret the feelings or energy around you to divine emotions and other energy vibes from people, places, spirits, animals or anything really that contains energy. Empathy and Clairsentience could also be grouped together in the spectrum of intuitive gifts, which relate to feeling or sensing the emotions and energies of the world around them.

Clairsentience is a broadened form of Empathy, which encompasses a wider field of sensitivities and has quite a lot in common with intuition, because it a strong awareness that you feel inside yourself about the subject you are concentrating on or connect with. I should add, that you don’t always need physical contact to connect with energy. It can also be the most challenging, because sometimes you will feel things, yet it is difficult to put into words what you pick up and why.

To feel, as in Clairsentience, requires recognition, acceptance, and it takes commitment to learn the skills to manage the range of energy experiences you perceive.

Depending on your sensitivity or gifts, the following are some traits of being Clairsentient;

  • A “feeling” of being different will probably have been with you from early childhood – you may also have been able to see and hear in a way others could not or viewed the world around you differently.
  • You can be emotionally attached to someone, even at a distance you can ‘feel’ them (dreams, random thoughts, flashes of insight etc).  This can happen even if you are no longer associated with them. Even if you don’t want to be a part of it, you will still feel connected, and so you may need to take steps to disconnect the spiritual/etheric cord.
  • If you were misunderstood as a child you are likely to have been told that you “shouldn’t” feel that way or that you are “imagining” things.
  • You may have been a target/blamed or made to feel responsible for other people’s problems, including authority figures, primary carers, teachers or siblings. In adolescence this could progress to friends, work colleagues or partners. Perhaps you were used or are used, as a soft target practice!
  • A continuing pattern of “others” not understanding and or saying there must be something wrong with you because they do not “feel” that way. That you are just being “too sensitive”.
  • Able to perceive energy fields (through physical sensations), including a person’s aura and vibrations (such as voice and how words are strung together). Ever heard someone talk and their words just sing or lull you?!
  • Not knowing how you know but “knowing” anyway, things others do not seem to know or understand.
  • Feeling guilty and responsible for other people’s happiness.
  • Choosing to stay in situations for the sake of “others” even at your own detriment. Usually it will be for emotional rather than financial reasons.
  • Always giving others the benefit of the doubt whilst failing to see your own “goodness”.
  • Having an inner knowing that you are the “stronger” person even though you are accused of being over sensitive, emotional, irrational and imagining things that do not exist.
  • You can sense the presence of spirits, but you don’t understand what you’re feeling, except you know you feel a strange energy.
  • You are highly sensitive to your surroundings and they can affect your emotions. Large crowds and events can make you physically feel ill (perhaps you will feel nauseous, get headaches etc).
  • If earlier difficulties existed you may have a deep fear of confrontational situations. You will have probably unconsciously developed some level of coping strategies to avoid these but having to face a situation can cause great anxiety. This will be at a level of feeling very vulnerable and helpless, whilst manifesting physical symptoms of heart palpitations, nausea, frozen fear; this will be followed by a period of time trying to calm yourself while pent-up energy rushes through your body. This may seem to others an inappropriate or exaggerated response to what appears a fairly ordinary exchange or minor problem.
  • You go to other people’s homes or even meeting somewhere in a workplace and your emotions may change.  You may even attribute it to not liking the people, but have no definitive reason why.
  • You may serve as a “host” to another person(s); whilst supplying their “being” with energy will make you feel and appear the weaker person, the other person(s) strength can depend on “you” as an energy source. You may not recognise this yourself, however erratic and depleted energy is a symptom.
  • You think of someone who is not around you, and you inexplicably know how they are feeling and sometimes know if something good or bad is going to happen or has happened, but you don’t know why.
  • You have an ability to heal others. You can talk to them in person or even over the phone and they feel better, but you could feel worse.
  • Sometimes you can feel others physical pain and take on that pain.

Clairsentience usually falls into one of three categories: Gut feelings, Empathy and Physical sensations (of which I get all of).

Gut Feelings
A strong emotional response that can feel physical (feeling of dread or excitment) and it good to sense if you like or trust someone.
A sinking or sick feeling in my gut means that something is not going to go well or is to be avoided. A light fluttery (yes butterflies sometimes), excited feeling means that I am on the right track. Gut feelings allow you to sense very quickly whether or not you like and trust someone. Over time you will learn what it means for you.

Empathy
One of my biggest part of my gift. Some of us find that we have been able to do this from a young age. Sometimes a quick glance is enough or their physical prescence in order to pick up on the feelings of other people and know what it is like to be another person. Empathy is a hard gift to manage initially – whilst you can put yourself in other peoples’ shoes you can succumb to being a sponge – absorbing and feeling emotions which aren’t your own. Do you ever experience overwhelming negative feelings which seem to have no cause? Then you could be feeling someone else’s feelings.

Here are some traits of Empaths:

  • Your emotions get out of control (anxious, panicky, frustrated) in crowds, even though you may want to be there or at an event, you end up being drained.
  • People seek you out, they like being around you and even if they have just met you, they will tell you about their problems and issues (you will do all the listening and giving of attention
  • You have a need to make people feel better and do your best to, you also just know what people need to hear to feel better about themselves or situation
  • You have difficulty expressing your own emotions and prefer to focus on someone else (SO TRUE!!)
  • You explain away others bad treatment of you, thinking they needed you on some level, and have to accept it
  • You need to help and heal others, and you will sacrifice yourself to do so
  • Nature and animals make you happy and give you peace and comfort – you covet it.

Physical Sensations
Clairsentience also speaks to you through sensations in your body – like tickling or pressure or pain. I have found that certain images, words or even sound can have an effect on the body. Those who are more sensitive may not be able to view some visual images on television for example, because they feel physical pain (for example I get a sharp painful stabbing sensation, or shock through my entire body, it’s not pleasant! and cannot imagine good for the body).

Occassionally, whenever I am tuning into spirit or connecting with someone else when tuned in on a spiritual or active level, I get a strong warm tingling  or prickling sensation on one side (usually right) of my head.

Exercises to develop your Clairsentience

One on One Practice
Ask a friend to show you a picture of somebody they know well (but make sure you don’t know the person in the picture).  Look into the person’s eyes and tune into their energy – how do they feel at the moment of the photo being taken? If this is the first time you have consciously used your clairsentience, you may just pick up on a basic negative or positive vibe.
Ask yourself what this individual is like as a person. Ask yourself whether you trust the person. Is there anything else the person’s eyes are revealing?
Check with your friend – how accurate were you?

Practice in a Busy Place
The easiest place to do this is somewhere public. A coffee shop is a great place to start. Take a seat somewhere that you are less likely to be disturbed but still have full view of the comings and goings. Start by choosing a staff member. Focusing on them, just open up and imagine what you think they are feeling. Are they enjoying their day, or are they feeling frazzled and tired. Do you imagine that this is their only job, do they have children, are they studying at University, do they have a marriage or relationship, are they social or private people, shy or outgoing, and so on. Just explore who they are. Make sure you are using your imagination and that you aren’t pressuring yourself or second guessing what you come up with. Practice this regularly, and you will see a definite improvement in your ability to tap in to people. Make sure that each time you do this exercise, you complete the session with these cleansing practices and then ground.
